Before becoming a wife and mother, I had a successful career in the world of corporate sales, living under the “illusion” I had not one creative bone in my body. With the birth of my children, a newfound creativity was awakened. No one was more surprised than me! While lamenting the lack of personal connection and individuality found at the local malls, I began hand making all of our family gifts. As my children grew older, it became a holiday tradition. We made everything from ornaments to hand-painted sweatshirts and tee shirts. We tried our hand at clay work and collage. When I discovered jewelry I knew I had found my niche.

I have been a spiritual seeker since childhood and have studied many of the world’s spiritual traditions extensively including the ancient mystery schools. The wisdom and the knowledge I have gleaned from these studies has become the basis for my jewelry design. I research the stones and artifacts that I incorporate into my art pieces and draw on their energy and guidance for inspiration. Each piece is consciously woven with sacred prayer, music, incense and ritual.

In ancient times, it was quite common for people to carry crystals and rocks with them to assist in healing any number of illnesses. They also relied on the energy of the stones to help them with their own energy wishes. To become more loving or to invoke courage for instance. As they became more sophisticated, they wanted these magical charms and healing remedies to act as adornments, just as the wealthy and royalty did. This is how the art of jewelry design came into being. I am honored to carry on this ancient tradition with my healing art work.
